The Sil’hooettes, or Sils for short, were one of the first a cappella groups to really challenge my perception of what recorded a cappella could be. Tender and emotive vocals from the group combined with aggressive yet light-handed production from James Gammon led to some tracks that inspired me years ago. To get to work on this release alongside him was a joy. These tracks continue to exceed what I expect from an all female college a cappella group.
I did editing on six of these tracks. The album was produced by James Gammon.
